A one-of-a-kind textile piece that brings together craftsmanship, natural materials and the unique history of our atelier.
The front of this cushion is handcrafted from 100% silk, using carefully selected remnants from silk garments previously created in our atelier. Each fragment carries a story and is thoughtfully reassembled into an abstract patchwork composition, giving new life to precious fabrics.
The silk is naturally dyed with botanical and natural dyes, using ancestral dyeing techniques. Colour develops organically through the interaction of fibre, natural matter, time and process, resulting in subtle tonal variations, unexpected markings and beautifully imperfect surfaces. No two pieces can ever be exactly alike.
The reverse is made from natural linen, offering a tactile, understated contrast to the lustrous silk front.
More than a decorative cushion, each piece is a unique textile composition — an expression of slow making, material memory and transformation.
